Devon and I took the girls to the Provo City Center Temple Open house. When tickets went up, they went super fast, and the only times left were during the school day. So, instead of checking all the kids out, we decided to do it more as a date. We thought we would only bring Ashlyn, but then Lauren's preschool was cancelled, so she came too. It was funny how calm it seemed taking two small girls with us. It is a very beautiful temple. There is lots of beautiful wood detail, as well as so many beautiful stained glass windows.
As we went to leave, Ashlyn really wanted to see the "water." We were kind of hurrying home before Austin got home from Kindergarten, so we tried to overlook her plea to stop at the fountain. The farther we got, the more upset she was, crying "water, water, water." So, we decided to let her get a closer look at the fountain and enjoy the beauty of the temple grounds.
