What a great day to turn 9! Ethan had a fabulous birthday today! His cereals of choice were Lucky Charms, Ice Cream Pebbles, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Ethan decided on a Minecraft themed birthday party. He had a lot of fun helping me with the preparations. We looked online for ideas together. He helped make place cards and he made his own creeper pinata. We also decided to play creeper dodgeball, pin the tail on the pig, and we had some candy lego bricks for them to build with. His cake was a grass block. Nice and easy, but it looked pretty cool.
Ethan is right in the middle of our family, and being that "heart" of our family, he has so much influence over how things go. He is able to bring joy and kindness because he has a talent for those things. He is very sensitive and is good at seeing opportunities to serve and help. He is becoming a wonderful piano player and is diligent at practicing, which is helping him move along quickly. He is a great student at school. He loves to laugh and has a great sense of humor. He is excited to play baseball this spring. He loves to read. He is just a great boy and we love him a lot.
