What a great month March has been! Its been busy, busy, busy around here, full of family, birthdays, and lots of fun.
One Sunday while at Grandma and Grandpa Gibson's for dinner the girls were just enjoying sitting with Grandpa and I had to take a quick picture.
We celebrated the March birthdays and had the traditional birthday singing, cake, and ice cream.
Ashlyn loves this duck towel that we have. Aunt Tiffany gave this to Ethan for one of his birthdays so many years ago and it has been well loved and used by all the kids after.
Jayden and Ethan both competed in Battle of the Books. Its fun little competition at the school (that is done nationwide). There are assigned books for each grade. Teams are formed and they prepare for the tournament for several months. The tournament at the school is each March. They are asked questions from the assigned books and the answers are always the name of one of the books, and they are supposed to know the author as well. Jayden's team was "the Mustache Men."
Lauren, Ashlyn, and I had fun playing at the Museum of Natural Curiosity together.
Ethan and Dad had "Daddy time." They went to Lowe's and built a monster truck. Ethan also decided he wanted to buy a bank to make at home.
Austin just loves those "selfies!" Here are a few good ones from my phone. Looks like he got Lauren to get in on the fun.
Lauren is the broccoli queen in our house. She really, really, loves it. She has also learned that she loves to eat the stem after we cut of the ends.
Austin and his buddy Tyson have lots of fun together. Tyson's mom sent this picture to me. They were having fun being explorers.
The caucus meetings were crazy this year! It has never been like this! We had to park like half a mile away, and then found this line. Once we got near the front we found out this was the line to vote for the Democratic Presidential Candidate (between Hilary Clinton and Bernie Sanders). What a mess! We really just needed to go inside and find the room for our caucus meeting, which was pretty impressively attended (probably mainly to vote for the Republican Presidential Candidate - it was between Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and John Kasich). This year's Presidential Candidates are now Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump. This will be interesting.
Ethan earned his Wolf for cub scouts.
Lauren came home with these ears from school and decided to make her own cat whiskers. What a cute little kitty!
