We had so much fun with all the Kirk family. We went to Gary Dollar's property down by Yuba. We stayed two nights. The nights were a tad warm, the water a tad cold but all around a fun time together.
Devon brought his parents' four wheelers. They were fun to ride, but they were also super handy at helping transport people and things to the beach.
Steve brought a shovel for some sand castle making. The kids loved helping him create Kirk Castle.
Austin, Lauren, Kaden, and Ashlyn came up with some sort of game putting rocks in the cups. Lauren is also singing something here.
Devon started a water fight with the kids.
The final product of Kirk Castle!
Rachel and David went to David's brother Ben's wedding, so there weren't here Saturday morning. Bummer!! Here is a cute picture of all the kids 8 and older, except for Nate.
Leave no trace, right? We were tempted to leave our creation so others could admire it, but knew we should level it out. They probably wouldn't value it the same way we did. The beach looks nice and combed now, but you can definitely tell we messed the natural vegetation. Hopefully that's ok.
Another successful family vacation this summer. Check.
