Dylan prepared our family home evening lesson this week. He was so cute about it, telling me he wanted to talk about what each of the articles of faith mean, and then changing his mind, and wanting to talk about baptism. Then he changed his mind again, and said he wanted to talk about the Priesthood. We started to talk a little about it, and then he decided he needed to write it down. He wrote this pretty much completely on his own.
Priesthood
The Priesthood is Heavenly Fathers power. You can bless people, baptize, serve, sacrament. I'm grateful that I will get the Priesthood.
It is so fun as a mother to see him get those desires to do what is right, and to show more maturity as he grows. This was a first for him (writing out a lesson), and I am excited to see him continue to grow, especially his testimony.

What a proud Mom you must be. It makes my heart happy just as his aunt!
It won't be too much longer until he is baptized and soon on his way to holding the priesthood! I know he's only almost 7, but the years fly by!
Seeing kids progress with reading and writing is one of the coolest things ever as a mom! Hope to see lots of vacation pictures when you get back!
